About Us
From starting as a small rug shop in the middle of Cupar, Country Carpets has grown into two large custom built stores.
Since the early days Country Carpets has built its reputation and business on offering value for money on quality products
backed up by a great after sales service.
History
The buisness was taken over by the Nimmo family in 1985 from Peter Moffat. In 1991 they expanded into St Andrews opening a
shop in Argyle Street. With more space needed the Cupar shop moved to its present location at Prestonhall Industrial Estate
in 1993. The store in St Andrews also moved to larger premises in Largo Road in 1998.
Recent developments
Country Carpets is now registered with and approved by Constructionline the government backed scheme for approving
suppliers. This makes Country Carpets one of the few businesses in the country to combine both domestic and contract work.
The future
Country Carpets now hold more stock and offer a faster and more reliable service than ever. In addition they are determined
to continue to give the best possible value for money accross their wide product range.
